Using a medieval technique called gaufrage, Sabina Faye Braxton's velvets are embossed and encrusted with metallics giving the textiles a unique texture and luxurious quality. Over the years it has been used in designs by Christian Lacroix, Armani, Valentino, and even for Dumbledore's robes in the Harry Potter films. Seeing as we can't get enough of this fabric in our design projects we just had to use it on new pillows and upholstery in the shop. Stop by after we reopen this coming spring break to see this fabric in person - pictures do not do it justice! Details to come about our exact opening date....
